Choose your thoughts the way you choose your clothes in the morning.
I heard this for the first time when I watched Elizabeth Gilbert in the movie Eat, Pray, Love. We have lost that connection. Not only within ourselves but also with our Higher Spirit, God, Greater Cause, Intuition, or how you prefer to call it. Our ancestors have been way more in-tuned than we are. Have used the Greater Powers to their benefit and knew exactly how to communicate. We have learned to add more value to our minds and thoughts instead of our feelings.
Being connected with my spirituality
I always knew I have been a healer in one of my previous lives and I was more connected in my younger years. Perhaps also finding more confirmation with other people. At the age of 19/20, I bought the book from Louise Hay and this has helped me a lot over the years. I completely understood the way our body tries to tell us something when our actions and thoughts have become limiting to us.
Making the unconscious thoughts conscious
Being on this journey called Awareness or perhaps Awakening again has brought me a lot! A lot of new experiences, a lot of new ideas, emotions, depth, and a lot of new connections. But also becoming more and more aware of my thoughts. Asking myself greater questions like; Who am I to believe this? What do I really believe to have a thought like this?
Which beliefs do I choose today?
Our language is so important not only what is actually coming out of our mouth but I think even much more important is that what stays inside our mind! What do you say to yourself? What is it that you believe in? This you can train to become more aware. When you said something, ask yourself: What do I believe when I say this? What am I convinced about? If you ask yourself these questions you will discover new layers of yourself you didn’t know before. So my question for you is: Which beliefs do you choose today?
